What interests you most about your new role?

The opportunity to work with a forward-thinking, progressive organisation.

What are your main priorities?

Making sure we make a difference every day and continually drive to ensure an open, and enjoyable work environment.

What are your first impressions of Daikin?

An organisation steeped in history, leading the industry with a reputation for leading-edge technology, quality products and excellent service. A business built upon the company values and group philosophy, which you can see embedded and are not just for show.

What would you say to someone who was considering applying for a job at Daikin?

Join Daikin and make a difference.

How do you spend your weekends?

Chilling out on the sofa, or learning to play the violin (badly), when we are not looking after the grandson or travelling around the UK watching car racing in the British Endurance Championship. My partner's son-in-law manages car racing teams. Oh, and currently planning to build a model railway with my sons for the grandson (and me) to play with. I’m from Worcestershire originally - two grown-up sons (19 and 20), with the eldest in the Royal Marines about to finish his training. My partner Nikki and I are moving from Essex to Northamptonshire shortly so we can be closer to my partner’s daughter and 1-year-old grandson. I am an ex-swimmer, who competed internationally (a very long time ago) and then coached swimming for 18 years after hanging up my goggles, placing swimmers on national teams.
