Meet Adam, a dedicated member of Daikin's Sales Support team. He joined as a temp in January 2023 and became permanent in May 2023. With years of industry experience, Adam excels in managing relationships with retailers and consumers. Despite Daikin's size, he appreciates the close-knit atmosphere and the team's support.

Experience in the industry: transitioning to a larger team

I spent the last six years working in the bathroom industry for German manufacturer Hansgrohe, looking after retailers, end consumers and my team. It’s a big change from a smaller team to a much larger team!

My first week at Daikin UK: embracing change

I’ve actually been here since January as a temp going permanent in May. It’s been fun seeing the differences in ERP systems and applying my knowledge of SAP and CEC in a new industry.

While it’s a big company with many employees, there’s still that small group feel. The team are a big support and we pull together to get things done. Year-end was especially fun - the energy was something else!

How do you spend your weekends?

I’m into gaming, you’ll currently find me spending a lot of time with the new Zelda on my Switch. Otherwise, I enjoy walking, spending time with my family (especially my 9-month-old nephew), movies, and finally Eurovision.
