The Green Team had our second Ask Me Anything: Sustainability Sessions with Emma Taylor-Beal and special guest Julia Green.

It was a joy to host a lunchtime webinar, engaging in a riveting conversation with none other than the remarkable Emma Taylor. Emma, a true legend at Daikin for an astounding 18 years, has been a shining star since day one! Her unwavering commitment to sustainability is inspiring, as she champions green initiatives that resonate throughout our entire organisation. With boundless knowledge, unmatched credibility, and a fiery passion, Emma is the living embodiment of everything we stand for at Daikin.

In the session, we recounted stories of Emma’s exceptional journey working at Daikin supporting building service consultants on a range of energy efficient schemes and an insight into her work as an esteemed Cabinet Member for Housing with Worthing Council. She graced our team with lessons and take-aways from her experiences, both inside and outside of work, embedding sustainability into her every day life.

But that wasn’t all!

We also welcomed Julia Green, Daikin’s dynamic new Sustainability Manager. Julia boasts a wealth of experience within the housing sector, poised to spearhead transformation and create a lasting impact across our business.

We are absolutely blessed to have such phenomenal talents on board, as Ryan P. excitedly hands over the reins of the Green Team to these two remarkable, accomplished women. Emma and Julia are poised to lead, galvanize engagement, and provide unwavering support for our in-house sustainability initiative.
